It is a misfortune to build Kathmandu water structure according to foreign interests, the anniversary of the board was great

Lalitpur- During the 19th anniversary ceremony of the Kathmandu Valley Water Management Board today, Water Supply Secretary Suresh Acharya revealed that the final report on the restructuring of the three children born for Kathmandu Valley Water Supply is being prepared to go to the Council of Ministers within a month.

The chief guest at the ceremony, Water Supply Minister Rajendra Rai said, “The board is managing the water supply for the residents of Kathmandu Valley.”. I am hopeful that this ward will continue to work enthusiastically as it is on its adult stage. He also said that it is sad that all the members of the board of directors did not participate in such happy occasion of its anniversary. Rudra Gautam, Chairman of Water Supply and Sanitation Tariff Commission, has complained that the Ministry of Water Supply has not treated the three children who were born to manage water supply to the residents of Kathmandu Valley in the same manner. He has suggested to create a law for joint monitoring. Rajendra Sapkota, Head of Project Implementation Directorate, argued that it is very necessary to find water sources based on the population in Kathmandu to manage alternative drinking water and increase investment in the water supply sector.. He also mentioned in the ceremony that there was a delay in laying the pipe line outside the cycle path. The anniversary celebration was presided over by Mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality Sunil Prajapati and the participants were welcomed by Sanjib Vikram Rana, Executive Director of Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board.. The program was conducted by Ramchandra Dhakal, Chief Financial Officer of Kathadoun Valley Water Supply Management Board.
