Kathmandu, July 12 – The broader civil movement has expressed support for the Supreme Court’s decision, including the restoration of the House of Representatives, to establish constitutional supremacy and reject the naked practice of autocracy and arbitrariness.

In a statement issued on Monday on behalf of the broader civil movement, it was stated that the ‘progressive Oli trend’ has been defeated by the progressive consciousness of the common people and the constant resistance of the anti-regression forces. The movement is also of the view that there is a possibility of a new journey to build a prosperous democracy with inclusive and social justice by establishing the rights of various communities left unfinished by the constitution.

With the end of the autocratic Oli regime, the way has been opened for the formation of a new government for the opposition coalition, the statement said, adding that the coalition should establish progressive and progressive politics to address the concerns of the people.

It is also mentioned in the release that the civil movement will continue to struggle for a prosperous democracy with progressive politics and social justice.

“Oli has repeatedly dissolved parliament and continued his anti-people and unconstitutional actions. Insulting public opinion, he made unconstitutional appointments through an ordinance, the statement said, adding that the Oli government was mired in corruption from Omni to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences while the people were not getting basic health care in the Corona epidemic. By violating the dignity and jurisdiction of the post, the President has acted to justify the arbitrary and unconstitutional steps of the Prime Minister. ‘

In such a serious political environment, not only will the opposition coalition lead the government, but the massive civil movement will have to investigate all the corruption and illegal activities committed by the Oli government.

It is also mentioned in the release that the civil movement will continue until the basic rights of the people are established by reversing the anti-people actions of the Oli government.
