Bajhang, August 4 – The Surma road connecting the district headquarters Chainpur has been blocked due to the flood in Bahulikhola last night. The road connecting the district headquarters to Surma village municipality has been blocked due to the flood in Bahulikhola.
According to District Police Office Information Officer Kamal Chaudhary, the police team went to the site of the landslide and the details of the damage are yet to be known.
Chaudhary also urged all to be vigilant as dozens of villages in the district are at high risk of landslides due to the rainy season. The Sendogadi power plant of Surma-2 is also at risk due to the landslide.
