Kathmandu, August 9 – Police have arrested a young man on charges of robbing a gold chain.
The arrested is Anjit Subedi, 22, of Bhotekoshi Municipality-2, Sindhupalchok, Aruwari of Gokarneshwar.
Police claim that Subedi was arrested while he was fleeing after looting the gold chain of Sanu Basnet, a resident of Budhanilkantha Municipality-10.
Sanu was fleeing after looting a 2 tola gold chain around his neck while closing the gate of his house. Police from Kapan Metropolitan Police Division arrested him with the help of locals.
Police said that further investigation is underway.
