Preparations to take the proposal to appoint Kulman to the Council of Ministers

Kathmandu, August 9 – Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal is going to take the proposal to appoint Kulman Ghising as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority to the Council of Ministers.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers has been called on Monday at 4 p.m. This is not on the regular agenda of today’s meeting. However, Minister Bhusal has prepared a proposal to drag Hitendra Dev Shakya to the ministry and appoint Ghising as the NEA’s executive director, according to a source.

The KP Oli-led government had appointed Shakya as the Executive Director on 27 January . But on 19 July, in the presence of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Minister Bhusal urged Shakya to choose another option.
