Even Nepal could not remain untouched by the epidemic of corona virus that started from Buhan city of China. The low-income and daily wage earners were badly affected after the government announced a lockdown to save the people from the epidemic.

Some of the leaders of the Lions Club, a leading social service organization in the world, have risked their lives in this epidemic to bring some food items to the doorsteps of low-income and daily wage earners, communities and families. It has also provided some relief and ointment to the families who have not been able to attend the state.
Lockdown has affected the livelihood of those who work for daily wages and those who work hard. With this in mind, the Lion Club of Nepal Journalists has also tried to provide some relief to some journalists who have been contributing in the field of journalism. Food items were distributed in collaboration with Lions Club of Fellowship leader and zone cheerleader Lion Laxmi Mahat. To fill cooking gas for the families of 20 journalists under the coordination of Devraj Prasai Saddam has. Lion Devraj Prasai has told the people of Nepal that he is ready to continue it for a few days.

Lion leader Laxmi Mahat, who has been providing food aid to the journalists, is talking about giving food items to the most needy journalists. The club has promised to help some journalists.

Lion leader Laxmi Mahat’s team has been distributing relief aid for the past few days. They have already distributed relief for 49 days. So far, he has sold 2,325 kg of rice, 244 kg of pulses, 147 liters of cooking oil, 221 kg of salt, 210 kg of chickpeas, 468 kg of YY noodles, 20 kg of potatoes, 4 cylinders of gas, 2 kg of meat, eggs, biscuits and powder. Milk has also been distributed. He was encouraged by Krishna Jyoti Shakya, Bharat Prasai, Past Governor and many other leaders, said Mahat in a conversation with the Nepali people.
