Kathmandu, May 21- Seven people have been arrested for carrying the national flag of Nepal to Lipulek. He was arrested for violating the lockdown.
According to DSP Padma Bahadur Bista, Chief of the District Police Office, Darchula, they have been arrested from Tumling area of Beas village.
“When they go to Kalapani, they are beaten by the SSB. There may be an unpleasant incident,” said Bista. We have also arrested them for violating the lockdown. ‘He said that there could be a problem even if they reach Tinkar.
He said that further investigation is yet to be carried out on the arrested persons. There is widespread protest at the grassroots level after India built a road in Lipulek area by encroaching on Nepali land. On Wednesday, the government of Nepal has also released a new map of Nepal including Kalapani and Lipulek areas.
