Health Ministry orders action against locals obstructing lodging of doctors

Kathmandu, Aug 23-The Health Ministry has instructed the District Administration Office, Kathmandu to take action against the locals of New Baneshwore who obstructed doctors of the Civil Hospital who have been kept at a house there.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said the ministry has instructed the administration to take action against locals at Milan Chowk of New Baneshwore who obstructed the doctors and nurses kept at a hostel there.

Calling such misbehavior toward the health personnel who are at the frontline of the fight against COVID-19 pandemic unfortunate, the ministry has also urged the people to not indulge in such activities.

Locals had protested in front of the hostel where doctors and nurses of the hospital were housed on Saturday and demanded they be shifted from there.
