
Saudi, July 15 – 24 Nepali workers were stranded in Saudi Arabia after the company fired them. 24 Nepalis have complained that they have been left stranded after a Saudi company called Topaz Gulf fired them without paying their salaries.
The workers had filed a case in the court after the company gave them paid leave for more than seven months. Although the verdict was in favor of the workers, they said they did not get money and exit visas.
According to Netra VC, 24 Nepalis who lost their jobs after the company fired them are now living in Malarani, Arghakhanchi in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
According to him, the Nepali embassy in Saudi Arabia has been repeatedly informed but has not been taken care of. He has been forced to spend the day in a room for about two months.
The Nepali youths have complained that they did not have money to return to Nepal, the company did not pay them and the Nepali embassy in Saudi Arabia ignored them. According to the BC, the card used in Saudi Arabia was not renewed by the company, so they went to Javaz (court).
The youths said that the company did not comply with the court order to renew and pay the entire salary.
According to Bharat Rai, another young man with a permanent home in Bhojpur, when he called the embassy, he complained that he did not call us. Bishnu Sunar of Pyuthan complains that the embassy staff and the ambassador are not able to help.
