Kathamdnu, July 19 –  Devotees have been flocking to the Pashupatinath temple since this morning on the first Monday of Shrawan (July) , the beloved month of Lord Shiva. Even though the temple was closed due to Corona, there is a significant presence of devotees.

Devotees had reached Pashupatinath carrying flowers and Akshata for Shiva Pujan in the temple premises since morning. Devotees could not worship because the main temple was closed. But the devotees have worshiped Mahadev by circulating in the surrounding temples and worshiping idols by pouring water on the Shivalinga.

People who have reached the temple premises can be seen ignoring the Corona epidemic. The devotees present there did not observe physical distance.

It can be seen that some of them do not even wear masks. In this month, when the Sun enters Cancer as Gemini and Dakshinayan begins, devotees go to the temple of Mahadev to worship. There is a belief that if this is done, all desires will be fulfilled.
