According to the Nepal Airlines Corporation, the ship is flying to Beijing this evening to take the second consignment purchased by the government from China. The ship will land in Kathmandu on Thursday. The ship will leave for Beijing again on Thursday evening.

The ship will arrive in Kathmandu on Friday. The next flight is scheduled for Saturday evening. The ship will arrive in Kathmandu on Sunday. The widebody A-339 ship can carry just over 800,000 vaccines at a time.

Earlier, the corporation had brought the first consignment on July 10. At that time, 8 lakh 9 thousand 6 hundred doses of vaccine had come to Nepal. The government has purchased 4 million doses of the vaccine from China. China has said it will subsidize an additional 1.6 million doses.
