UML meeting decides to unite the party

Kathmandu, August 1 – The meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN-UML has decided to make all efforts to unite the CPN-UML.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the UML Standing Committee held at Tulsilal Amatya Pratisthan in Lalitpur on Sunday, said party general secretary Ishwor Pokharel. He expressed the belief that the UML could be united as per the timeline on May 20 and that the dissident parties would also be included in it.

“We want to unite the UML. We will do whatever we can for the unity of the advanced level, ”said Pokhrel.
During the meeting, Chairman KP Sharma Oli briefed about the recent political situation and unity efforts within the party.
