12 COVID-19 deaths reported Friday, 927 test positive

Kathmandu, Aug 28- Nepal reported the largest daily spike in COVID-19 deaths Friday with 12 deaths reported in the past 24 hours. The total death toll now has reached 195.

Similarly, 927 persons tested positive for COVID-19 Friday.

Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwore Gautam said during the daily press briefing that the total number of cases now has increased to 36,456. Similarly, 169 persons have recovered in the past 24 hours taking the total to 20,242.

The government has conducted 10,229 PCR tests in the past 24 hours taking the total number of tests to 658, 110 across the country until now.
