Sitaula from Jhapa was injured in an accident in America, Dulal, a driver from Kathmandu, fled to Nepal

Kathmandu- Anil Sitaula of Birtamod Municipality Ward No. 1, who is living in California, USA, was seriously injured in an accident.

Sitaula was injured when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Madhav Dulal, a resident of Harsiddhi Nominal Toll, Kathmandu, who had gone to America from Nepal. The pilot of the US Dorado Distich was cooking in Eel when the vehicle hit him.

Sitaula has been receiving treatment at the local St. Leandro Hospital since October 21. According to Sitaula’s wife Pinkie Joshi, he sustained serious injuries on his chest and legs Dulal, the driver who hit him, has absconded from America. Madhur Sitaula, the brother of the injured, said that he might have escaped and come to Nepal. Relatives of the injured said that the fleeing driver may have been driven away by his relatives in America.

Relatives of the injured have also submitted a petition to the Nepal Police. They said that the injured should be treated and that the only earner, Situla, was injured and his family of three was in trouble in America.
