Kathmandu, July 14 – UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has sharply criticized senior party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. He said that Madhav Nepal, who was toppling the party-led government by joining the opposition alliance, had no place in the party.

After losing his post as the Prime Minister, he left his official residence in Baluwatar and reached his private residence in Balkot on Wednesday.

We will allow some people like Madhav Nepal to work for the party if they really want to work for the party, ‘he said from the balcony of Balkot, but there is no place in the party for self-criticism and mistakes in the case of Madhav Nepal.

Saying that it was Madhav Nepal who created the current situation, he also quipped that he was happy to participate in Deuba’s swearing in at Sheetal Niwas. Earlier, while leaving Baluwatar, a crowd of Oli supporters had gathered. On Tuesday, UML leaders announced that Oli would be escorted to Balkot in a skirt with thousands of motorbikes and vehicles, while hundreds of UML leaders and activists lined up from the official residence Baluwatar to the private residence Balkot to welcome Oli.

Youths and students and party workers lined up with posters, party flags and banners bearing KP Sharma Oli’s name and lined up before and after Oli from Baluwatar to Balkot.
