An ASI of Nepal Police working in Rautahat died in a road accident

Bara, July 15 – An ASI of Nepal Police working in Rautahat has died in a road accident. The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Kumar Raut, 44, of Santapur Area Police Office, Rautahat. Raut was killed in a truck collision between Bara Bariyarpur and Baghawan Chowk.

A truck (Pradesh 2-03-001 Kha. 715) had hit a motorcycle (S. 5 Pa. 9537), according to police. The body of the deceased has been sent to District Hospital, Kalaiya for postmortem and the driver along with the truck has been taken under control, said Bara Police Spokesperson DSP Gautam Mishra.

Meanwhile, four persons were injured when two motorcycles collided with each other on the Birendra Highway at Gaur Chandrapur Road. Four persons were injured when a motorcycle (Na 59 Pa 1995) coming from Gaur and a motorcycle (Na 49 Pa 6418) heading in the opposite direction collided with each other on Wednesday. The injured have been identified as Shashikant Kumar Sah, 24, of Garuda Municipality-4, Rajesh Kumar Baitha, 24, of Pipra Bhalohiya, Ajay Kumar Singh, 25, and Rahul Kumar Sah, 24.

Meanwhile, Shashikant, who sustained serious head injuries in the accident, was airlifted to Kathmandu from National Medical College, Birgunj for further treatment, said DSP Shri Ram Bhandari of Area Police Office, Garuda.
