Kathmandu, July 22 – The share market index Nepse has risen above 3,000. The Nepse index, which is also the last trading day of the year, increased by 18.75 points on Thursday and reached 3,031.31 points.
According to Nepse, the Sensitive Index of Class A companies has also increased by 4.06 points to 562.24 points.
Today, the rise of banking, hydropower, finance, non-life insurance and mutual fund groups has had a positive impact on the overall Nepse.
A total of 55.9 million shares of 222 companies were bought and sold 114,000 times on this day, resulting in a maximum turnover of over 11.11 billion.
While the share market index fell by 9.01 points to 2,985.57 points last Tuesday, the turnover was only Rs 7.89 billion. There was no trading in the stock market during the public holiday last Wednesday.
