Kathmandu, July 29 – On the last day of the week, the Nepse index, which measures share turnover, has declined by double digits. The Nepse index, which rose to a historic record on Wednesday, fell by 15.11 points to 3,079.83 points on Thursday.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also declined by 3.47 points. The group sub-indices traded on Nepse, hotels and tourism and development banks have increased. All other sub-indices have declined.

The transaction amount has also come down along with the Nepse indicator. Shares traded above Rs 13 billion on Wednesday but did not reach Rs 11 billion on Thursday.

A total of 26 million 40 thousand 23 shares of 217 companies have been bought and sold out of 1 lakh 6 thousand 6 hundred and 82 transactions during the day and the transaction amount has been stopped at Rs 10 billion 90 million 58 million 30 thousand 64.
