Demonstration of health workers at Bir Hospital saying they have not received allowance for 8 months

Kathmandu, August 1 – Health workers and employees of Bir Hospital have been protesting for the past eight months saying that they have not received various allowances including COVID-19 risk allowance.

Employees have protested inside Veer Hospital saying that they have not received service extension allowance, medical treatment allowance and COVID-19 risk allowance which has been suspended for eight months.

Administrative Officer Dr. Employees have also chanted slogans saying that the police has intervened when they demanded the allowance from Jageshwar Gautam.

Police have been mobilized at Bir Hospital due to the protest of the staff.
