Administration urges not to hold assembly conference and procession in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, August 3 – The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has urged not to engage in such activities saying that crowd-related activities have increased recently.

Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli said in a statement that various meetings, conferences, sit-ins, processions, seminars and rallies were being held despite the high risk of corona infection.

Parajuli said that such activities should not be done against the health standards as there is a possibility of a third wave of corona infection due to such activities.

“Strict action will be taken in accordance with the prevailing law if any activity is found in violation of the issued injunction and health standards,” the administration office said in a statement.
