Kathmandu, August 10 – Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has presented the statistics that the balance of payments deficit has increased by an additional 143 billion in the previous government’s tent.
Stating that the previous KP Oli government, which came to power with a two-thirds majority, said that the country’s economic situation was fragile, the country had a deficit of 48 billion.
Finance Minister Sharma said that 143 billion is still insufficient even if it is met from the reserve fund so far.
