General Manager of Nepal Railway Company Guruprasad Bhattarai has resigned.

Kathmandu, August 11 – General Manager of Nepal Railway Company Guruprasad Bhattarai has resigned.

He announced his resignation, saying he had sought an explanation from the government for dismissal while he was preparing for the operation of the train.

Calling the current government anti-development and anti-people, he announced his resignation saying that he could not fulfill his post responsibilities under such a government.
