Surkhet August 11 – Midwestern University’s five professors’ association, Vice Chancellor Pvt. Dr. They have demanded the resignation of Nanda Bahadur Singh.

A joint statement issued by the Partial Professors’ Association, Contract Professors’ Association, Democratic Professors’ Association, Nepal National Teachers’ Association and Chapter Contract Professors’ Association on Tuesday evening demanded the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Singh.

The agitating professors’ unions have accused VC Singh of resorting to hooliganism and failing to maintain his position. He accused the university administration of ignoring the legitimate demands of students and professors and ignoring them in a one-sided manner.

A joint statement issued by the professors’ unions on Wednesday said, “We strongly demand the immediate resignation of the incompetent, irrational and vice-chancellor on the grounds of incompetence.”

The United Students’ Organization (USO) has been agitating at the university since July 16 demanding 18 points. Soon some professors have joined the movement.

Students’ organizations and professors have been accusing the vice-chancellor of not working properly and failing to maintain his position.
