‘Doctor’ arrested for failing exams

Kathmandu, July 25 – Doctors who failed the exam conducted by the Nepal Medical Council have been arrested. A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Vijay Shyam Ranjit, 36, of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 2 on Sunday.

He had failed the entrance test of the registration certificate required to register as a doctor from the council.

After investigating Soba, it was found that he had made a fuss and the team of the bureau arrested him from Maharajganj.

Bureau spokesperson Shyam Kumar Mahato informed that the time limit has been extended by the district court in Kathmandu for taking action against him in accordance with the law.
