The double digit decline in Nepse, while the transaction amount did not decrease by 14 billion

Kathmandu, August 5 – The stock market index Nepse has declined by double digits on Thursday. Nepse, which had risen by 12.05 points last Wednesday to its all-time high of 3123.14 points, fell by a maximum of 16 points on Thursday to 317.45 points.

On this day, which is also the last trading day of the year, the Sensitive Index of Class A companies has risen by 0.64 points to 579 points. According to Nepse, all groups except the banking group have turned negative on this day.

However, in a market with a maximum decline of 16 points, the transaction amount is still above Rs 14 billion. According to Nepse, a maximum of 14.31 billion 62 million shares of 226 companies have been bought and sold more than 138,000 times.

Last Wednesday, the Nepse had risen by 12.05 points to its all-time high of 3123.14 points, with a turnover of Rs 15.59 billion.
