The Nepse index is at an all-time high, with investors flocking to hydropower

Kathmandu, July 27 – Share market index Nepse has set a new record. On Tuesday, the third day of trading, the Nepse index, which had increased by 29.24 points, stopped at 3079.67 points.

This is the highest point ever. Earlier, KNEPS had touched a high point on Sunday. The market, which had declined by higher numbers since the start of trading on Tuesday, was restored in the afternoon.

In the last hour, the market started to rise. The market, which stood at 3,050.42 points on Monday, has been affected by various directives related to banks and financial institutions made public by the National Bank on Monday evening.

The indices of banking, trade, hotel and tourism and other groups declined on Tuesday. However, investors are focused on production and processing and hydropower. The index of production and processing group increased by 4.74 percent and the index of hydropower group increased by 3.75 percent.

A total of 141,652 transactions of 225 companies were transacted on Tuesday. A total of 32.35 million shares have been bought and sold from these transactions. A total of Rs 15.17 billion was traded on Tuesday.

Today, the value of a total of 14 companies increased at the circuit level. Among the major earners, Multipropos Finance, Khanikhola Hydropower, United Modi Hydropower, Nepal Hydro Developers and other companies have gained more than 10 percent. The value of companies including Sarpot Microfinance, Unnati Sahakarya MFI, continued to decline.
