Kathmandu, July 27 – Bollywood actress Shilpa Sethi’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by a Mumbai court. Raj Kundra, who was arrested last Monday, was kept in police custody. He and another man arrested, Ryan Tharp, have been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police on charges of making a pornographic film and distributing it to the public through an app.
According to the Mumbai Police, a complaint was lodged with the police last February. Raj Kundra was arrested during the investigation of the same complaint.
Police have claimed that there is sufficient evidence that Raj Kundra was involved in the case. Raj Kundra, on the other hand, has been denying the allegations against him.
