Kathmandu, August 5 – Indian wrestler Ravi Dahiya has reached the final of the Olympics. He defeated Sanayevan Nurislam of Kazakhstan in the semifinals in the 57 kg weight category.

In the final, he will face two-time world champion Javur Ugea. Ravi will set a new record in Indian wrestling if he can beat Yugiov. He will be the first athlete to win gold at the Olympics.

Ravi and Yuguiv are both in great form now. They have already competed in the 2019 World Championship. At that time, Yugiov had defeated Ravi 6-4. Ravi had won bronze in the championship where Yugiov won gold.

Ravi has already won gold medals in the 2020 and 2021 Asian Championships.
