Kathmandu, August 5 – Helicopters are now being used to rescue critically ill patients from the corona virus epidemic. Summit Air has brought two Covid patients from Surkhet to Kathmandu on a medical flight on Wednesday.

According to the company, a captain and a medical team rescued the patient. The patient was taken to hospital from Tribhuvan Airport. Special equipment and tools were used on the plane for the purpose of keeping the covid sick.

This is the first time a patient has been rescued by placing such equipment on a ship other than a helicopter. Helicopter companies are rescuing patients from different parts of the country during the epidemic and transporting them to hospitals.
